About Scunthorpe Divers

We are a branch (0449) of BSAC ‘The Largest Dive Club in the World’.

The branch has a membership of about 50 individuals of varying experience, interests and backgrounds who share one passion - spending time under water!

We have two RIBs - this allows us to get up to 10 divers active, weather permitting! – and our own compressor facilities delivering clean air to 232 bar. We can also enrich diving air mixes with oxygen for Nitrox-qualified divers.

Branch business is conducted by an elected committee which meets monthly to organise events, raise funds and discuss training and planning for the future.

Official business and weekly social gatherings (‘club nights’) are conducted at the Robert Holme Hall (Hospital Club) where we also deliver diver training lectures.

Club Night is on Thursday evenings when members gather from 9pm onwards. Join us for a drink, chat or tall story!

This is also the time and place to find out about any diving activities being organised whether it be training opportunities, buddy diving or organised events.
